Not for the Fest, but for National Underground.
We are a group of volunteers that record a stupid amount of shows and material. You can see our stuff at http://www.NationalUnderground.org. This will be our fourth Fest recording shows. We can totally use anybody's help who's interested in helping do any of this stuff. Oh, and this year at Fest...you might not miss the shows you really want to see...a first for us. And as always, if you do a good job, I'll totally give you a letter of recommendation if you need it for your resume. Plus, sometimes there's pretty cool perks. Contact me here or on the site for more info.
Shooting Video...might not even need your own camera
Recording Audio...might not need your own equipment
Production...at Fest, I need a copule people to be there when I can't and just kinda make sure everything goes smooth and then I also need a couple to do interviews and such
Putting on Shows...do it at home? Help us out at Fest.
Hosting Shows...gotta good place?
Mixing Audio...kinda gotta have your own stuff
Editing Video...here too
Web Stuff...some easy, some advanced.
Graphics...show us some stuff
Writing...if you can manage this forum, you can totally do this.
Marketing...there's so much posting of our stuff on other sites we could do if we just had some friends help us out. Wanna help?

for Video Editors if you at least have some sort of idea what your doing I don't mind helping teach you some things, as of right it's just basic multi-cam editing which is easy to teach.
I'd prefer if you used Final Cut Pro 6 or Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. Sony Vegas would work also if you have the newest one.

I worked at a video-editing company for two years and can handle a camera. I'd like to do what I can.

That's great guys! Thanks so much!
Anybody who wants to help in nearly any capacity...let us know.
Even if you can just help setup/load gear/run errands/watch people's shit/cleanup after some of the house parties...that would 100% rule.

i might be down to help just load stuff. lol @ my inability to do anything technical.
is this just for house shows? shows at bars/venues? i plan on volunteering at the Fest too, just as long as there's no conflicting between this, Fest volunteering, and shows i need to see.

Curtis! HAHA!
I still thank you guys for doing that.
Curtis, Cam, Colin and I guess Ryan helped us move...and we had to move Betzy's inventory...10,000 cans of hair pomade...fuckin A.
Those are the best dudes in the world.
And I made you stand on the bar at The Social for two days straight on the Jake tour...good times dude.
Good to see you here. I will totally let you shoot some shows.

Yeah, we moved slow, but moved all night long...with occasional smoke breaks. One of the only times I'm glad we didn't drink beer.

I know I couldn't do all the moving I've done since I started college without the aid of weed and filthy, filthy sex stories, to pump up testosterone.

Some moving experiences for long distance must involve 36 hours of continues drugs and driving. Not the safest, but really the most efficient way to travel.
