I was born in Mississippi and spent the first 25 years of my life there. I've lived in Texas for the last four years, but I still consider myself a Mississippian.

So yeah!

and that's coming from a man who has spent time in both Jacksonville and Ocala, Phillip has seen his share of dirty!!!

i visited a friend years ago in some place called Ocean Springs, Mississippi and it might not be dirty but Mississippi from what I saw is definitely a unique state of mind (no pun intended on the word 'state')

did any bands from Mississippi make out to play Fest last year?

One Reason, Hot New Mexicans and Saw Wheel are all from the Mississippi Delta, and we all played last year and the year before; however, none of us currently live in MS.

I'm not sure about One Reason or Hot New Mexicans, but I'll be playing again this year.

RJ
