Anyone know what the record is for the most sets played over Fest weekend? I know Dan Yemin played three at Fest 5...Right now I'm set to do 3 official Fest sets, and anywhere from 2 to god knows how many house shows/parties.
Just wondering if anyone knows what the record is and if its something I should strive to break.

I heard one of the members of Tiltwheel tried to play in as many bands as he could last year. Bands he wasn't even in. I don't know if it ever happened though. Anybody?

Off the top of my head I can think of two people who played at least three sets last year
Davey- Tiltwheel, Dan Padilla and Bloodbath and Beyond
Paddy- D4, The Arrivals and Bloodbath and Beyond

Zac has the best chance of doing this out of anyone, as he will not be blackout drunk, or even remotely drunk, the whole weekend.

I know Yeems played 2 with PIB last year (Dirty Money house show and then the next day at Common Grounds), followed by Sunday with Armalite.

This record goes to Matt Sweeting. Hey played 5 shows in one night during the Fest 3. And he had been on tour for a month prior to the Fest so he did it with virtually no practice.
True North
Assholeparade
Strikeforce Diablo
Stressface
Deadsure

Five shows in one night? Sweet Buddha-blowing Christ, that's intense as all get-out. Was he awarded something bitchin' rad for his contribution to Festing?

Wow, that's superb. Presumably he's never had to buy a drink at Fest since.

Mikey Erg could probably break that record, if all of his bands would play the Fest. I think he has a band for every month of the year. he rules.

Well, I know last year 3 of his bands played - The Ergs, The Measure, and Short Attention.

I think there are a lot of local Gville musicians that can do several shows in a night, and have... many times. Pretty common in Gville. There are SO MANY of them that are in anywhere from 3 to 6 bands at a time and touring regularly. They are always ready for the Fest that way.

I would really like to start at least three bands within the next few years... but first I need to recruit dependable like-minded members, get a job so I can afford to buy a guitar, learn to play it...
that 5 sets in one night is VERY impressive.
