I'd love to book my flight and start making travel arrangements asap, but I kind of need to make sure I have enough scratch for tuition before I can commit to a $600 or so flight. I may not be able to actually pay for my Fest expenses (except for my ticket, of course) until sometime in September, am I going to be fucking myself over?

I guess what I'm asking is when is too late to start booking stuff for the Fest? If my friends (who aren't 100%) decide to come, when should we have our hotel room booked by? If I come by myself, are there any fine folks from Gainesville who would be willing to put me up, in exchange for some home-cooked vegan meals and a bottle of Canadian whiskey? I demand answers!

Book as soon as you can afford it.That way come Fest time you'll have more money for beer!!

Seriously though book as far in advance as possible. It will be a little lighter on the wallet come Fest time then when you need spening money for beer and band t-shirts!!

i guess the only thing that you cant delay is buying your Fest ticket. The rest you can fudge/make up later, but if you sleep on actually being able to see the bands, well.. it'll be rubbish.

I was just about to post this. I JUST booked my flights right now! It doesn't go to Gainesville, but it goes to Jacksonville which is only an hour away.

Woohoo for JetBlue Airways travel deals. If you live in the States and near an area where JetBlue flies, I highly recommend taking advantage of this deal right now to either Jacksonville or Orlando.
