I'm avoiding writing two papers for my graduate classes. I'm pursuing a Master's in History, and my minor is in Curriculum and Instruction.
RJ my B.A. is in History. I hope to pursue a PhD in History someday. My true passion. I'm a nerd! What is your paper topics on? So you're a history teacher or that's what you're going for I presume?? I'm having no luck with getting a job teaching. we should be friends!
I also took a B.A. in History. Once I finish my Master's, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. as well.
In the meantime, I'll be teaching. I start my first year of teaching this fall. I've accepted a job at a local public charter school where I will be working with students on History and Civics. The school focuses on performing arts, so I'll get to work with students on guitar as well, so that's cool.
Good luck with your job search! The market can be pretty competive, unless you're a math or science teacher.
We should totally be friends. I've got to say I'll consider you a pretty crappy friend if you don't come to my Fest show though!

Ha, not too hard to figure out where huh.
Well, if it will make you feel any better my last post there was:
"Thanks, but I've been around Gville since 1991 and been on here since 2002. But under another name I'd rather not be associated with. And I've known Glyph since then too. So yeah, I've been here since the beginning of the boards here.
So no need to treat me like a dumbass, chances are... I know a lot more than you think I do. Do I need to add all that to my signature or what?
I know HawkGirl knows and she's just joking, she's been on here longer than her profile says (but under a different alias as well). And I know some of you are trying to be helpful (Doctor Bob), but some of you are just being unfriendly and elitist. No thanks, that isn't what music or Gville is about for me."
I like to make an appearance just long enough to get someone with a a stick up their ass all worked up then leave again for another month.
Glyph thanked me for that comment up there in person when I saw him at CGs during Torche. Funny response I thought but he's got quite the same sense of humor as me.
