Sunday, I found the unlocked stripper room with nice quiet couches in The Venue. So I was takin' quick cat naps and stealing liquor whenever I wanted. I decided to take a nap last year before youth brigade, tried to get a half hour of rest in the van a block away from the venue, unfortunately my drunk ass didn't wake up to my cell phone alarm clock till YB had just finished.

Last year I avoided the Fest Aids, my fest-partner wasn't so lucky but he didn't take any of my advice. I ate vitamins for two weeks before Fest and then stayed on a strict airborne regimen through the whole thing. This year, I discovered the wonders of Zicam. If you start feeling shitty, take that stuff, it'll turn it around and make you feel like Superman.

During the Fest to cure my morning Fest aids was to get two quarts of OE and some orange juice and two sparks, and drink my two brass monkeys and sparks, then hit the streets. It worked during the Fest but when i returned from Fest I was dead, and I got a tattoo on saturday during it and it got super infected. I think it had something to do with the booze, sweat, other peoples sweat, and people seeing a new tattoo and feeling the need to punch it. All in all it's completely worth it.

i lost my voice by day 3.. literally all hand signals. then went to richmond a few days later and i think i left it there for awhile as well

My voice was totally gone by the time it was all over, but it wasn't from being sick, it was from screaming myself mute to Tiltwheel.

my fester buddy last year caught Fest aids. i reccomend emergen c and good music. stay out of the crammed sweaty disease riddled floor area. other carriers sweating and pressing thei bodies to you doesnt seem to be a good way to stop the epidemic.

As good cure for FestAIDS, i reccomend maximum stage dives.
If you are with it enough for stage dives, you should be able withstand pretty much anything else. |

Airborne was recalled a few months ago, I believe.
and I'm with Jay on this whole thing. 50 bucks and 2 weeks worth of antibiotics, totally worth it. |
