He'd love to meet everybody, but probably wouldn't like having to stay someplace strange and not get any rest. And of course going to loud shows is right out. He might be OK hanging out at an outdoor show though.
He's my best friend, and he really does love to meet people. anyone else (mostly in gainesville people) ever think of having a Fester Dog meet-up at one of Gville's dog parks?
post pics of your dogs.

I'll be setting this little duder free when I go down to the Fest.
I found him at Biven's Arm near Chopstix in the road next to two of his DOA siblings. I've had him since '06 and I think he's gotten big enough to get along on his own.

Oh and I have two VERY large Goldens (Falcor and Artax) that were feral when they found me. They would try to kill your dogs so they will be at my home in the country guarding my cats and my place while I'm Festing!
Here they are as puppies:

This is my dog Lucky. He's a Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle mutt and a big mush. I'll miss him when I go to Fest but I always miss him when I go away for long periods of time:

not joking, also when we broke up I still had the receipt from when I bought the cat and told her I was going to take it then her dad tried to throw his beer bottle at me and said if I came back he would run my car over with his tractor. needles to say I haven't been back it was an ugly breakup

I also live with a Jack Russell, but he's really more of my mom's dog. GOt him when I was 12 years old, but over the past 9 years that I haven't lived here, he was seriously bonded with my mom.
He'll be turning 15 next week. he's slow, and wobbly, but still has pretty good energy and coordination when he wants to.

He's probably a pure Jack Russell though, i.e. really small right? You can't tell from the pic I posted but my dog weighs maybe 40 pounds. He's got the outer features of a JRT as you can see (white fur, brown spots, same face/ear shape), but he's got the body of an average-sized Beagle... and howls like a Beagle too. He's also got Beagle hunting skills. I swear, my dog is ALWAYS looking for some sort of small animal to attack.
15 is old for a dog, but that's awesome that he still has the energy. My dog's still a youngin', he's going to turn 5 later this year... actually, two days after Fest is over will be his 5th birthday.
If I lived in Gainesville, I would definitely bring him to a dog-park meetup if that happened.
