shows or no shows, the east coast trip sounds like a winner of a plan

Depending on how it pans out cost-wise, I am still torn between flying from NY/NJ down, and this proposed van trip. I do love me some roadtrips, though.

fly UK - NY - UK

roadtrip down to florida, fly back to NY, fly home?

it's a thought.... one amongst many!

As much as I want to 'do' the whole East coast at some point, I think NY takes priority, and if it's the difference between spending one, or three days in the area, and with playing shows taken out of the equation then I'm tempted to plump for the latter. More hangin' out, less driving and not being able to drink (much).

yeah, it's all good, i'm loving the enthusiasm for NY! i definitely wanna go to (read: live in) brooklyn and also do the tourist stuff too, then asbury lanes/an NJ show etc im sure there's stuff in addition to young livers on, man i'm grinning insanely just thinking about it!! i'm willing to go with the consensus, more bro'ing down (that includes girl who are bro's too, haha) is a definite priority, it's allllll good.

Much as roadtrips are always fun, if you're limited for time it seems a bit pointless as you're gonna spend more time in a car/van than out and about having fun. I would have though to make it worth while you'd want a week minimum.

Even flying took the best part of a day as we had to change planes at Atlanta but we were in Gainesville by 5 pm having had a pretty easy day and all ready to go out drinking!

Yeah, it's got to be flying for me, spending a day in a van is totally not best use of time!

As a side note though re: Chillytown + The Cost Of Living/Liver/Loving, you guys should get on the Tampa wednesday show again - and we are trying (albeit quite lazily at the moment) to find something in Gainesville for the thursday night, so we should try to make that a combined thing too if we can.

And then when we get home can we finally go to fucking Ireland together too, please?

I take it you've tried to contact someone at Wayward? Do you guys know Fun Alf from Dorking? He was talking about somehow trying to put on a UK show out there and think he tried to speak to the Wayward lot. Not sure how far he got with it but it could be worth having a word.
