I suggest everyone going to The Fest should add me on myspace. Then if you don't actually at least say hello to me at The Fest, I will de-friend you the following week.

I'm Jeremy, 20 years old (will be 21 at The Fest!) live in Gainesville although I might be in Orlando for the rest of the Summer (Nickelodeon Guts is coming back! working on the new show)
I'll be one of the guys running around with a Camera, I film/edit/assist with whatever crazy idea Mackenzie has for National Underground.
I got some crazy plan I'm trying to scheme up where I follow bands that our touring down to The Fest a week or so before it starts. I'll love you if you buy me drinks/pizza or just offer a high-five.

I'm Barrie (ahem, I'm a chick with a dude name). I'm 26, though by the time Fest rolls around I'll be 27. I'm from Brooklyn, NY (born, raised, still live here) and this will be my 2nd Fest. Last year I went on literally a week's notice and had the best fucking time of my life... this year, I'm doing way more advance planning. I haven't a clue who I'm going with, I'm trying to assemble some folks to go but a lot of my friends think it's too far in advance to plan out (boo).
I do an internet radio show called Generic Insight Radio and I run a DIY public relations/promotions company. I handle all press matters for the band Sakes Alive!! from Rochester, NY who have applied to play The Fest this year... keep your fingers crossed they get a spot, cause they are awesome.
http://www.myspace.com/sakesalive <--- check 'em (if you dig Glass and Ashes-style gravelly-voiced, loud punk rock, you'll be heavily into these dudes)
If they don't play, there's a chance they'll be coming down with me anyway for the fun.

Sakes Alive better be playing, I've been bugging Chris about coming down and playing in Florida for the past couple months.
if it comes down to it I'll just get a hotel room and they can play until the cops show up
looking forward to meeting and hopefully hanging out with ya Barrie

IF Sakes Alive! doesn't get an official show, we'll be setting them up at an after party...no worries. If they can get their asses down here...you'll see them play. There's a thread about House Shows. I posted an idea there I want everyone to read. Check it.

Any which way, get your ass down here. Make friends on the board or make em in person. Just don't you bail on the best weekend of your life if some friends have things that come up. Make it this time...trust me.

Janeen - lived in Gainesville just shy of 10 years. Graphic Designer, dabble in photography. Spend a lot of time at all kinds of shows. Have made many show fliers, taken show photos and am currently working on a band's logo. Love to support local musicians in any way I can.
I don't have any Fest photos, barely have the memories. Prefer to be behind the camera.

Looking forward to more half-memories.

Nice! that would rule. My plan is to get a hotel room and I've already told the SA!! dudes they're more than welcome to come stay, considering I may even be going alone.

Same deal. It's actually two places connected one with beer, one with more produce. But both sides, real all-american swap meet weirdness. My buddy from KS visiting bought a head examination table from a morgue. It was shaped to drain blood. We took the thing apart to fit it in a box and there was all this brown guaze inside it. I keep lying to myself that it was just rusty...real rusty. Anyhow, Then once a month we've got an auto swap meet, if you're into that kinda thing. It's not a lot going on, but we like it cause it's quiet, good schools, no crime and we can drive to GV, Orlando or Tampa whenever.

Hey everybody,
I'm Mike. I live in Rockland County, NY (30 miles NW of NYC on the Jersey boarder). I just finished going to a state school in central NY and moved back home last month. I play in a band called The Knockdown with a dude named Vic that some of you in the Tampa area might know from Kiss Of Death. We're applying to play next week when we get our new record in the mail. This year will be my first time coming down for the Fest and I'm really excited to hang out, meet people, enjoy some great bands, and hopefully get to play somewhere.
