Heyy,
Well I'm Kelly, I'm 20 (21 in September though in time for the Fest!). I've been to Florida once before but only to Orlando really so I'm really looking forward to seeing more Florida and less theme parks. Rollercoasters scare the shit out of me. I went on the Dudley Do-Right log flume at whichever theme park that was and I cried haha, aged 18. It felt like my brain did a somersault inside my skull. But I'm not a total pussy though hehe, honest. Im originally from Perth, Australia, but I now live in England. I'm moving back to Aus in 2 years though. My main interest is photography, I'm doing a photography degree at Kingston Uni on the outskirts of SW London, and so I'm living in good old K-town for the next 2 years. It's a fine art based photography course and I tend to spend my time bending the rules of and exploring the medium of photography and not doing much traditional photography haha. My love for photography/art is about equal to my love for tattoos, I've got a half sleeve consisting of a Hiroshige woodblock print with some big flowers below it, and a Keith Haring side piece, then a few other random bits. And of course I generally like going to gigs, partying, and drinking beer . I think thats about it!
Oh and this is my 1st Fest, I'll be coming with 1 of my best mates Fraj, aka Tom_Frag on the board and we wanna meet as many people to party with as possible wahey!

I'm Kenny, from Glasgow in Scotland. I'm doing a part time masters in human rights law just now while I work full time in the public sector trying to persuade people that learning is a good idea.
Some friends and I (including saRah! on here) do a little gigs collective here and some of the Fest-related bands we've put on include Glass and Ashes, Lemuria, La Quiete, Hot Cross, Ringers, The Mercury League, Latterman and we've got Young Livers coming over about 2 weeks before Fest, which should be awesome.
One of the other things apart from Fest that I get really excited about and spend thousands of pounds travelling abroad for is the Scotland national football (soccer) team, I'm off to Macedonia and Iceland for that in September. Here's me in the stadium in Vilnius in Lithuania. Oddly the Scottish flag up the flagpole in the background is actually mine, but that's a long story. I'm on the right. Or the middle if you count the old guy on the far right.
Fest 7 is going to be my second Fest, last year being my first. Last year we stayed in Orlando either side of Fest and did theme parks and things but this year we're going to start in NYC before heading to Fest, and then after go up to DC in time for the elections (my first degree was politics, so the chance to see a different system in action is quite exciting to me). Here's me at Fest last year, complete with koozied PBR. This was in the pub that us UK kids adopted as our own, Mothers, I think.

Yea, it's called Mother's now. I don't know if it still is but it was the only bar in Gainesville owned by an actual 1st gen Irish immigrant family. So it makes sense that you cats would feel most comfortable there. And you need to wear the kilt WITH the sporran.

I'd never wear a kilt without a sporran, that'd be weird. Well, weirder.

Oh man, don't feel bad about that ride. I've been riding coasters my whole life and I refuse to get on that ride. The one time I did, right before it took off, I freaked out and jumped out it, but the people working there made me ride it anyway! I cried too, haha, and I must have been around the same age.

Haha, we went on that last year. I don't remember it being very scary, but it was extremely soggy. I forgot to take my passport out my pocket, but it survived, fortunately. And then just to take the piss a bit more there's the waterguns people can use at the bottom when you think you're done.

Islands of Adventure at Universal, which is really the only theme park worth going to in Orlando, besides Sea World. That metal bar you hold on to is not very comforting, considering it's wet and slippery, so you're really just on your own to not fall out of the log haha.

Nope...we're in Webster. And while I'm sure you know about it. Maybe others don't.
It's a really small town. We have no traffic lights. We're down to two gas stations...one that serves as the grocery store, a couple bars and this massive Farmer's Market. "In-season" 10,000 people descend on this little town every Monday (might make a cool Monday after Fest). Off-season, in the summer it's cool to go cause you can get stuff people are just trying to unload. Everything from produce, to antiques. All sorts of junk. One day I saw at two different booths devil door knockers. Plus in one half of it you can drink beer and they've got all sorts of food. And we live close enough to just walk.
