Howdy, guy. I'm Erica from Arizona. I went last year and had the best weekend of my life! I met a ton of great people and can't wait to reunite and meet more I'm actually flying instead of driving 35 hours straight there so I'll be more ready for awesome.

Hello all.
I'm Alison, I'm from the area (bornandraised), so I'll be driving into the city, and footing it or biking once here. This is my fourth(?) Fest .. the years have started to run together. Each year I earn my wristband by volunteering for a 'shift' and then having the rest of the weekend to Fest my heart out. It works out well for me, I get to meet great bands and work, hands on with them getting their gear on and off stage. I meet lots of great people that way.
Keith -- that pool party was outrageous, and I hope it happens again. There's rumor that hotel is going to be crawling with cops, but I highly doubt it. I talked directly to several staff members last year who said the busted up shit and the beer/piss stains and the pool damage was nothing compared to all the damage done by football fans every season. So that made me feel a little less bad for the cleaning crew.
Anyway, hello! Can't wait to see everyone, whether I know it or not, at the Fest this year. If you see me, make sure you say hello!
peace/alison.

hello, my name is Tony and i'm an alcohol... oh wait, wrong meeting.
Anyway, i'm from Richmond, this will be my 2nd Fest. Had an in-fuckin-credible time last year and can't wait to add to it. I love Gainesville, be it for Fest or not.
Can't wait to rock out with everyone

Hi, I'm Philip.
For a few years, I went to just one day of The Fest, and simply paid at the door for a couple of shows. Last year I went the whole weekend, and I am convinced that is the ONLY way to go. Everyone is friendly, I wish The Fest would last all year. Seriously, I want to work on a movement, build a Utpoian Society modelled on The Fest.
anyway, I spent 6 years living in Jacksonville, the last 3 of them working at a factory. I was comfortable but stagnant. So I quit my job, moved back to my hometown of Ocala (about 45 minutes South of Gainesville), and I'm currently unemployed, but back in college.
I'm stuck here for a while, so I will be working on making Ocala a little bit more like Gainesville. Maybe someday I'll relocate. I also like comic books, craft beer, reading, and a lot of bands that would not go over well at The Fest.

Sup, my name is Zac from Atlanta. This is my 4th Fest (2, 5 and 6 were my previous). I play in Benard (who is playing the Fest this year), and will also be playing guitar in Mose Giganticus this year, and maybe one more set. Come hang out!

I like Atlanta, I might move there one day. My friend Cody lives up there, it's possible you know him, he came down to The Fest last year.

I'm Seth! From Santa Cruz (california!)! I went to the Fest last year (after saying for the past 4 years "i'm actually going to go this year! I'm totally going *checks bank account*...oh. uh. I'm going to go next year!!) and it was seriously close to mecca. I'm socially awkward as hell so I didn't meet more than a handful of people, which I need to rectify this year. I am seriously trying to get everyone I know to go and it isn't quite working how I'd hoped.
Also, I need to meet people who will smoke me out this year. A lot. Like, during every set. My goal is to take a hit once an hour the entire weekend.
EDIT: also, I will probably be on here constantly because I work from my computer, so this is the best way to avoid the everyday life that exists between fests.
