Well first the band has to actually apply to the Fest, and not be touring elsewhere at the time. So that's where you need to start.

Do your research, find the right PR people and contact them. Many bands/musicians don't even run their own MySpace or website. So they will NEVER see your emails and comments.

My Andrew WK cover band could probably play. It's not the same, but it's still fun.

So it's Thursday, just past noon, and all of a sudden, there's this pounding in my head, and my heart rate is pikcing up, and my shoes are tapping impatiently. I can't quite figure out what the hell is wrong with me . . . until I realize that there's nothing wrong . . . there's something right. What's that pounding? Why, it's a song of some kind. They appear to be rocking . . . yes, they're rocking out. What's that I hear . . . "WE WANT FUN AND WE WANNA GET WASTED!"
