1) Avail, Small Brown Bike, Asshole Parade and Army of Ponch were all excellent.
2) Liquid Limbs and Nakatomi Plaza were pleasant surprises.
3) I WISH WISH WISH I'd seen Bridge and Tunnel
Monotonix was so good it was life changing. Seriously. Anyone who was there knows.

I'd have to say that, even being a huge Avail fan, that their set was the most fun I had all weekend.
If I had to name my 20 favorite Avail songs, they probably played 15 of them at The Fest. Props to those guys for just getting better as time goes by.
My other two favorite sets of the weekend would probably be Ringers and Chinese Telephones.

I missed so many bands I wanted to see but I can't believe anyone would have been better than:
QUADILIACHA
They were fucking amazing!

Very awesome. Come see Raygun AND the whole Sludgeworth in Chicago for Riot Fest.
And to answer someone else's question the song was Someday if I remember correctly...that or Waste It Away...but I'm pretty sure it was Someday

I'm going with Avail who were worth travelling all the way from the UK on their own!! Absolutely brilliant.
Andy
P.S. A special mention has to go to the insane Monotonix!! I'm gutted I missed the first 10 minutes byt staying outside!! They are playing in Belgium in December - Does anybody fancy a road trip?!!!
