Damn, Raygun did a Sludgeworth song? Which one?
I'm extremely disappointed that only one person mentioned Tim Version. How many bands actually got to play an encore after the crowd demanded it & the sound guy finally relented? That was my Fest highlight from a personal standpoint. I've never been prouder & happier for my friends.
Favorite sets for me:
American Steel
Methadones
Armalite/Arrivals/OFTH back-to-back-to-back awesomeness
North Lincoln/Vena Cava
No Truth Lies/New Bruises (only because I've never gotten to play Fest before, and I got to play twice in one day)
Fucking amazing Fest this year. My personal favorite. Everything went my way, damn it.

The Tim Version was definitely awesome, I never heard em before and I just felt like checking out some new bands before Tiltwheel and I thought they were awesome.

this is lame cause it's my band, but i'm just curious if anyone caught us (landmines) and what you may have thought, i take criticism fairly well and i'd like to hear either bad or good things.

As for outside that?
The Draft and Planes Mistaken for Stars dude thanks for making me miss D4, haha i got way past El Indio, gave up finding a Wachovia and stopped back at El Indio before going back to the venues.
I thought you had a car! lol
I would've never suggested walking there otherwise.
Sorry man.

First, the entire weekend, and everyone in it.
Then, as far as what I remember:
Avail.
Avail.
Avail.
Then:
Tiltwheel
To clarify my point of view:
I decided, if I had a band in the Fest this year, I would have given my time slot to Avail, so they could play again.
Then again, no I wouldn't. I don't think that show could ever be duplicated again.

That was the most intense moment of my life...well, right after helping your woman squeeze out an addition to the family and then cutting the cord. That whole party was nuts. Shook Ones doing "I'm the One" was incredible. I got some of both sets on video, but my paper's web site can't publish everything I filmed. though, they were able to post one of the songs from Paint It Black. http://www.gainesvillesun.com/article/20071028/NEWS/710280325paintbrushbangs wrote: Yes, Ghost Mice was really rad. I'm uploading Ghost Mice videos as I type this. I have a lot more videos to upload & I'll make a post about it or something. can you share the video link? I spent Sunday at Common Grounds and missed out Haven't uploaded all my videos, I will try to get them all up tonight. (I have some other videos; Small Brown Bike, Defiance, Ohio, Matt & Kim, & New Bruises) I'm sorry that they aren't very good quality. Next year, I'll bring out all my proFESTional gear. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=paintbrushbangs
sweet. I'll check it out when I'm not at work.
thanks
