There really is nothing better than a Tiltwheel show. It's been about 24 hours and I still have absolutely no voice. Damn singalongs. Haha, and my knees are all bruised cause the stupid Market Street stage is directly at my knee level and that Tiltwheel crowd was, as always, just a little crazy.
Old people party harder.

Best sets for me were as follows:
Gaslight Anthem
Fake Problems
The Copyrights
SMALL BROWN BIKE
Armalite
Shook Ones & PIB at the house on Friday
The Swellers
No Trigger (fucking insanity)
Young Livers
Cloak/Dagger
Look Mexico (BEASTIE BOYS cover)
This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb were so fucking good for the 3 songs I caught of them
Matt & Kim were a pleasant surprise, I wasn't familiar with their music but they were very, very good.

The only correct answer is Municipal Waste. If you weren't there, you have NO IDEA! (pun sort of intended)

seriously. that show and glass and ashes were the only 2 i had trouble getting into. i went up to common grounds before MLIW started, and the line wrapped around the block.
radon, btmi, no trigger, sbb, and seaweed were my favorites.

A lot of you blew it and didn't check out The Figgs on Sunday.
Tiltwheel...as always. Tim Version...good god. Triclops! was awesome. Baroness. Dauntless Elite. Vena Cava.
Avail was cool and D4 were great but the shows in the smaller venues just always feel more "Fest" to me.

The Figgs kicked ass! I really thought there was going to be a lot more people to see them though.

I'm so glad someone mentioned hour of the wolf. those guys are amazing! Didn't get to see them at the Fest but they play here a lot.
I can't even begin to start...but Small Brown Bike did play my fave song of theirs and I managed to be on stage for them (thanks Rich!) so that takes the cake probably.
