You all are fucking idiots. That's like saying, "There needs to be more white television shows." Most of the shows on TV are white, and most of the people going to Fest are guys. It's a bit counter productive (and undermining to say the least) to mock the topic of having some lady time. Grow the fuck up and treat punk rock as a safe space and community instead of an aesthetic.

I just always thought that this culture was a way for me to avoid all of the jerk offs that acted that way while I was in highschool. Now here I am 30 years old, still running into the same stuff, but somehow it's appropriate because it's a "punk" saying it. Guess I'll never get away from it, but that doesn't mean I'm not giving up on the possibility that somewhere, somehow things will get better, and EVERYONE would be able to feel comfortable, not just the people with the loudest voices. Fart.

I thought I was creating a forum for the few ladies in our scene to get to know each other. I thought it was going to be fun, and that it would be a great way for us to learn from each other.
