Well at this point, I believe Daveys house in Escondido is intact. They went up last night and met with his dad and he said the house is still there. I looked at all the maps, and the fire actually went all the way around the area where the house is. All of the Tiltwheel, Dan Padilla stuff is safe for now. We are all leaving today, and I am thankful. It sucks here right now really bad. My eyes are burning from all the smoke, and it is really getting hard to breathe. I feel for the 500,000 plus evacuated people in the county. I'm glad we are leaving to get a break. Hopefully when we get home it will be back to "Sunny southern California." Yesterday, when I was approaching my work, I saw flames shooting over the hill above my work. I went home expecting the worst. I called my boss last night, and he told me it was fine. I am at work right now, and it's still here. I can't believe it didn't get whipped out. The flames stopped about 50 yards away. Can't wait for Fest. I'm gonna cut loose from all this awful shit that has happened to us in the last week or so.
