Ryan's house show last year was probably the best thing I have ever attended. It was incredible.

So...let's plan this out here...who's got a place? And Saturday morning...maybe both mornings?
Or would it be better to start planning what the Dirty Money guys had planned last year. They were gonna have shows every night Thursday through Sunday. Three bands a night or so. If I can find a place to rent, I wouldn't mind finding some money to make it happen. I'd love to involve you guys and pick bands here on the forum to invite to do it and record. Every body go get your Fest on and then regroup somewhere and record it. That way I'd get to record the best band regardless of what venue they play in. Fest 3, 4 and 5 were all different crews doing their best. Problem is, it didn't always work the best. We put together a really tight crew for Fest 6 at the Venue, but I feel like there were a lot of really great bands that played in all the other venues that we didn't get to record. Hell, maybe you didn't get to see them cause they were scheduled against somebody you couldn't miss. Whatever the case, let's pick the bands we'd like to see play two shows that we know are coming. Just start listing them....Who would you like to see us record this year at the Fest? And should we record shows in the venues, house parties or like a smaller place? Let me know.
this is an amazing idea.

I say we rent out one of those storage containers on the other side of town that Dirty Money and Against Me! practice in. They're away from houses, so I don't think we'd get in trouble out there.

I was planning on making another after show happen. I don't know exactly where yet...we moved into a house downtown but with an even smaller living room than the apartment. I want a lot of people to be able to come soooo I'm looking for an alternative. It's still far away...but I think I can pull it off...possibly better than last year, but I don't know about that ha.
Mknz, we should do something about that...i think I could find somewhere.

OK...so start sending me ideas on places.
Should it be one place or maybe a host house every night.
Just talking after shows? or are we gonna try to do daytimes too?
And what's up with these places?
You don't have to post, you can message me too.

There's a good chance me and Brendan from Worn In Red are going to have an Operation Ivy tribute band at the Fest. Any houses interested in having that if we're able to get it off the ground? We just got a drummer to confirm yesterday, so I think it might actually happen.
