was that the tour where Blink 182 was headlining and Bad Religion was opening? Call me an asshole but I found it rather fucked up that Bad Religion had to open for Blink 182.

I'm sure everyone here has those kind of stories too. I am curious to hear their new stuff. I haven't heard anything since the album that came after Dude Ranch. They were fucking hilarious live.

well bad religion is all about staying underground and not selling out. making their own label and all. Blink was like "bring the bitches, money and fame, woo! MTV rules!"
I *do* like how they act like complete shitheads and make all the 13 year old girls upset when they tell herpes jokes, though. Imagine going to one of their shows now. Gosh dang, i'd feel like a pedo.

I'm pretty much indifferent at this point.
Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat are two of my favorite albums, pretty much ever, but after that...I dunno...something about them always put me off. And they are horrible live. Funny, yes, in a really sophomoric way that appealed to me when I was in middle and high school. But, the last time I saw them, it really upset me with much they seemed to rely on that humor instead of playing a good set...
Although, honestly, some of their later stuff got stuck in my head for days at a time...I suppose I'm interested to see what they do now...

both the spin-off bands sucked huge cock. i think they realized that. hence the reunion.
enema of the state was about all i could handle. too poppy. i didn't buy the next one. the live album is pretty good, though. and i've seen a LOT or reputable bands play horrible shows. they're either drunk, don't care, both, whatever. I try not to judge.

I try not to judge. I saw on youtube one of those spinoff bands play "Christmas Vacation" by the Descendents. That was pretty damn cool.
