"Dealing" with post-Fest depression, with insanity mostly.
The Real Collective presents;
KEEP IT REAL Fest!
Friday 24th April 2009
BRIDGE AND TUNNEL (ny, usa)
OK PILOT (exeter, uk)
THE COST OF LIVING (manchester, uk)
+ 1 or 2.
Saturday 25th April 2009
YOU ME AND THE ATOM BOMB (portsmouth, uk. tbc)
CHILLERTON (portsmouth, uk)
LIVERS AND LUNGS (portsmouth, uk)
BATTLE OF WOLF 359 (london, uk. tbc)
HAMMERS (manchester, uk)
HAIL BRETHREN (manchester, uk)
ABOVE THEM (pontefract, uk)
TOWN BIKE (liverpool, uk)
+ tons, there will be two 'stages', bands
running one after the other if my plan works
out. Mixture of punk/pop punk/hardcore.
Venue is tbc, the venue I want to use will require
a little effort from the general public, but will mostly
be the best thing ever for what I have in mind.
Places to sleep over for out of towners can be arranged.

There's time to save! Do it, Jeremy! All you'd need is your flight money, and everything else - we can take care of!

I hope you do come over at some point. although you're going to have to be on a one-man tour to see/stay with all your fans:D we'll show you the sights, eat british 'american-style' waffles for every meal, illustrate the use of a hand-brake - you'll be just too blown away.

I tried leaving my car parked without the handbrake on. Didn't even get a foot away before I freaked and dove back in to apply it..

I envy you for getting to play with an awesome band I'll now never get to see. Which is not entirely related to this thread. But Flamingo 50 is awesome none the less.

I'll probably come to this if there's somewhere to lay my weary head.

I haven't bought a lottery ticket in over a month. If I don't play, I'll never win. And if don't win, I'll never be able to do all the travelling I want, and get my degree in Brewing Science.

This plan could work better.
He has spreadsheets of stats and multiple fantasy leagues and god knows what else. You know what is awesome? When we're waiting...anywhere...and he pulls out these stats printed off his ridiculous spreadsheets and starts comparing them....for his fantasy league. NERDALERT.
He also lurks here, but mostly is too busy at work posting on the Celtics board.
Let's turn this obsession into a moneymaker.

Sounds awesome! I'll be there for sure.
Is there any room for more bands? Just wondering.

Can't believe how organised you are, Danny. Is there any word on whether anyone else is going to be touring with B&T yet? We've had quite a lot of people wanting to play when they're up here the day after already.
