I never got into them, though I did see them at the Covered Dish in 1999. I didn't know what "emo" was at the time, I just thought it was gonna be a punk show, so I went, and it was packed. What really surprised me was that the crowd was at least 60% girls, and most of them had the same haircut- like a Bettie Page type 'do, but choppier, and dyed bright pink.

"Something to write home about" is nothing but aweseome, but I didn't get too much into the records that caqme afterwards... stoked to see them in april on the groezrock festival in belgium.. that will be fun..

Four Minute Mile and Something to Write Home About are 2 of my all time favorite records. Not to mention the Red Letter Day EP. Super stoked about this.

But, I figure they played Chi-Town on their Farewell tour, they'll probably play there again. Shit will probably sell out faster than the Jimmy Eat World "Clarity 10 Year" tour did though...
