Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's <a href="http://www.myspace.com/sedativesedatives">Sedatives</a>, a recent addition to Germany's <a href="http://ptrashrecords.com/">P.Trash Records</a>' roster, recently received their first record for the label, a 5-song self-titled 7" initially released by Sedatives' vocalist/organist Ian Manhire's <a href="http://www.myspace.com/goinggagarecords">Going Gaga Records</a>. The record will be available soon from both the P.Trash website and the band. Sedatives will also be entering the studio this fall to record their first LP, which will likely see an early 2009 release.

Sedatives will be sharing more dates with pals, labelmates & Sudbury darlings <a href="http://www.myspace.com/statues">Statues</a> this November, including the final day of the 2nd annual <a href="http://www.myspace.com/avarninginmtl">A VARNING IN MONTREAL</a> Festival.
