yeah, but there was something more recent. there were 2 major protests, one in Miami, the other in Orlando protesting Burger King, McDonald's, and Taco Bell for the wage they pay for their tomato pickers or in actuality the amount they paid the tomato company per tomato.

I was going to say...I was pretty sure Taco Bell did something about that. Again, I'm not defending them either, and I'm sure they still aren't paying a decent living wage, but I do remember a boycott of our campus Taco Bell Express a year or two over this. I thought it was funny that everyone ate at Burger King instead. |
