John McCain just said "offshore drilling is a bridge"
Yes, a Bridge to Nowhere.
You're welcome Jon Stewart.

I watched the beginning, which was both candidates repeating themselves a lot and disgreeing on very few things.
then I went back and watched a bit of the part about meeting with the president of Iran, and John McCain was being a douchenozzle.
I do know the name of the Iranian President, I just don't feel like trying to spell it.
PS- I'm gonna move this thread.

It makes me sick.
John McCain is a buddy of war criminals. The fact that our government has gone unchecked so long is inexcusable.
Why the fuck doesn't anybody in politics besides Kucinich think these guys need to be in jail?

"The president and I agree on most issues," McCain said in a May 22, 2003 interview on Fox's "Your World with Neil Cavuto." "There was a recent study that showed that I voted with the president over 90 percent of the time, higher than a lot of my even Republican colleagues."
ugh.

ugh.
and that was 5 years ago, when he still had a lot of disagreements with Bush and the GOP in general. Right around the cusp of the time he started losing his "maverick" credibility.
Funny how in that interview I'm sure he was defending himself by saying he agreed 90% with Bush. In the past 5 years, he and Bush got a LOT closer policywise, and now that it has become a campaign liability, he's trying to distance himself.

since the beginning of time people have talked of the apocalypse, but it's getting dangerously close, everyone keeps blaming the war for the debt and ignoring the fact that having 99% of people in fucking debt creates a huge national debt and the fact is eventually all the made up money is going to crush us, if the corporate douchebags stop making up money and realize most of it is made up then maybe we can fix shit otherwise we're fucked and sometime very soon, 750 billion? no one will be able to afford taxes without fucking jobs and there'll be no jobs when all the places close from bankruptcy, no one can explain how this works and everyone fails to realize it's not a simple fix, yes this is america but fuck you if you don't have the money you can;'t have what you want, fuck you and your maxed out credit cards, i'm out
