I know that the title makes it not seem like a rant, but they're one of the only record labels that got it right, they (for the most part) keep everything in print and most of it is colored, whereas there's so many labels out there that are like yeah we'll press 100 of this, you know what? if you could sell the first 100 why not keep it in press? clearly there's a demand for it especially when some records get hundreds on ebay, I mean what the fuck the so called "rare" and "special colored edition" is the biggest fucking scam ever, granted it's ridiculously great marketing, but going to school now I can't afford this shit! In conclusion I'll be happy just to own a copy of a record, fuck special copies, if the record is good it'll speak for itself. shit. turns out everyone sold out.

I second that motion.....No Idea does in fact rule. Not only with the awesome selection music that they keep available but also the way the business is run. I got an email today from PJ saying that my Fest pass/hotel order went through 2 times. It's fucking rad that someone would take the time out of their day to verify that this was an obvious mistake. When most other places would just let that go and say fuck it. Not to mention sponsoring/putting on Fest. No Idea records. We salute you.

i agree that no idea is awesome, but the thing about you being charged twice and them doing the right thing by not letting it go through...what does that say about us as a society when we get excited about customer service merely NOT ripping us off?
It like i see sooooo many douchebags everyday that I should just knock the fuck out, but i don't. Should i be praised for this act of holding back?

no you should do it
then I could walk around downtown Gainesville and see people laying on the floor in pain and eventually follow the trail of them back to you like bread crumbs or something

No Idea is the worst label I can think of. Sorry guys, I don't need any more gray marble. Thanks anyway.

i think No Idea are a prime example of how record labels should and can be run, they consistanly put out amazing records for amazing bands, have an active part in promoting decent bands (online distro, the Fest)
i've never been dissapointed by any no idea release, they communicate with fans, and seem to be awesome dudes to back it all up,
(wipes face and stops brown nosing)
