"What is Punk and Beans Radio? Punk and beans radio is an internet radio station focusing mainly on Punk, Ska, Hardcore and various other genres of music. We have weekly live shows that air on Tuesday and Sundays. Punk and beans radio started back in late 07 by Steve Annoying who hosts Steve’s half-ass punk show Tuesdays at 8pm CST. For a while in the early conception of the station unsure of where it would go the show was called the punk and beans radio show with Steve and long time friend Chris co-hosting. Chris eventually had to move on and Steve was left as sole DJ and created Steve’s half-ass punk show. Geared toward playing some of the best underground punk and ska as well as bringing you interviews of bands you actually what to hear from. Enter January 08 and the station is starting to take form and the addition of Jahshie P a great long time friend and business partner was added to the roster and does Jahshie P’s street punk hour on Sundays at 9pm CST. Jahshie P plays some of the best in street punk and what ever the else he wants to also he too has interviews from top bands. Juvenile Delinquent was added for the 3rd show to be on Punk and Beans radio. Hosted by Aaron Cynic (zinester and writer of fall of autumn press) Aaron was bringing you some of the older punk rock and just what ever the fuck he wanted. Aaron has been on quite a few hiatus’s and should be back in line up on Sundays at 6pm CST. The latest show to be added to the station is Dope Sick Radio on Tuesdays at 7pm CST. Dope sick radio is hosted by Brian Bush from Layers Magazine (now defunct). Brian’s show is not only a reminder of what Brian never wants to be again. Brian’s topics vary from day to day whether it is Sex, Drugs, Politics or pissing in sinks (thanks again for not doing that at the studio Brian). Brian’s guest cannot be predicted; porn stars, convicts, authors and well you get the idea. We are a group of true hearted music fans and bring you what we feel is the best.
