check out this 100 year old sterling silver spoon that my mom found in her dad's storage unit. The text in the face of the spoon says "WHO SAID WATER MELON?" The actual spoon is only about 4 inches long, but of course the picture is bigger so you can see the detail.

not surprising. It hasn't even been a human lifespan since the end of Jim Crow laws (ended in the mid-sixties). It will be much much longer until racism actually (if it ever) subsides.
I'm a bit jaded with everything racist anyways. Nothing's shocking.
