They covered Alternative Radio once in Boynton Beach. That was really cool. I'm not surprised that they're not touring very hard. I've literally seen them more times than I can count and I don't think a single one of those was intentional. They're not bad, but I dunno...

i saw them last year in Baltimore and they were fucking awesome. They ordered the barricade removed and when the staff wouldn't do it, they asked the audience to do it, so we all picked it up and moved it off to the side. They also played all their great old shit. Oh, and the gold album is pretty fucking good too.

Oh man, I just bought tickets last night for the HWM/Bouncing Souls show in Portland. That means a roadtrip (like 3000 kms, 1800 miles, there's a fucking roadtrip!) to Portland to see my favourite band in September and The Fest in October. This fall is shaping up to be off the proverbial hook.

Two of my favorites in one place. Is Strike Anywhere on that too? Because I'd probably gizz if I were you.

ok so maybe i exxagarated a little bit, there is definitely a better live punk act these days. but like someone mentioned earlier about them playing both their old stuff and kick ass stuff from The Gold Record i was priviliaged enough to see the Souls in dec of '06 for two nights in Orlando and all the towns they played twice at on the tour they did something the second night(s) in that in order to commerate the 10th anniversary of 1996's Maniacal Laughter they played the whole record live track by track!
that may not mean much to come but when I got that CD in 2000 it was the first true punk CD i got and after hearing that I dove in headfirst and never came back up again! so basically insert favorite band playing one of the most influencial cd's all the way through live.

I'd really like to see them play. They are one of the only bands that I liked when I was about 14 and still love just as much now.

i assume this is common knowledge by now but just in case, it seems prudent that the souls will be playing the Fest.
they'll be playing chapel-hill, nc on the 30th, and ft lauderdale on the 1st. leaving one conspicuous date wide open, very close to ft lauderdale.
i'd say its probably in the bag.
