So a few months go, I was visiting some friends in Atlanta, and my friend Liz's usual hangout happened to be filled with camera crews and production assistants from the show "Driver-ins, Diners, and Dives."

They interviewed a bunch of people about what we were eating and drinking, and why we liked the bar (a place called The Highlander). I think my interview went especially well, so they might use a quick clip of me, bascially boil it down to a soundbite.

Even if they don't use my clip, they bought me an Irish Car Bomb because it was my birthday.

Tonight at 10:00 pm, or maybe 10:30, whichever one is the new episode, and I guess about Atlanta. I don't have cable, so I gotta go to a friend's place.

just added it to my tivo so I don't miss it, mondays is a boring tv day for me since its only American Gladiators and Conan

it won't air till September I think they said, but I was working for ESPN Deportes for the World Domino Championships last weekend, the semi-finals are definitely worth watching. pretty much the Venezuelan team accused the Dominican Republic of cheating and then the judges got into arguments with the fans and then someone got a Yellow card and it calmed down a bit until some time limit thing happened and more yelling from the audience and the judges and the players started shoving and yelling at each other until one of the Dominican's got a red card and Venezuela won, the place turned into a mini riot with about 100 Venezuelans rushing the stage celebrating and waving flags and jumping around everywhere.
all the arguing and yelling was in Spanish, 98% of the production crew only knew English, and the stage was meant to hold only 30 people max, it was chaos for a good 10 minutes

oh and for anyone that remembers Nickelodeon Guts, the show is coming back. The Crag is almost done being built and we start filming in a couple weeks.

is it possible to put TiVo on youtube?

that dominoes thing sound crazy, it's really weird they wouldn't air it until September though.

The very fact that yellow cards exist in dominoes makes me unsettlingly happy.
