I wanna talk to him and get my stories straight before word goes around that "so-and-so claims he was in this band or that." I think it was some sort of straight edge metallic hardcore band, that never did anything. One of those bands that might as well have not existed, because half the members don't even remember the band.
I also ask because Red Roses is one of those bands that I've heard entirely too many 'friends' of theirs claim to be in the band as well. Totally lame. I've called out more than a few people on this.

my friend's band from around here sounds a lot like Discount and they won't apply because it's "too expensive" www.myspace.com/thejesseminute

You know what I'm talking about. Because it's something we both know and have discussed.

I was at every one of them and yeah, mostly 90s hardcore bands played because afterall, it was the 90s. Sick as Fuck Fest is new as of this year. It is only at one venue on one day: August 9th at the Kickstand. 90s hardcore is the best hardcore! i need to check out this new Fest...wish i would have caught the one taht converge played...too before i lived in gainesville though. Anyone remember Red Roses For A Blue Lady? 90s Gville hardcore/metal at it's finest! http://www.myspace.com/redrosesforablueladymusicThey played close to if not all of the Gainesville Fests.
i havent thought about this band since they broke up! so crazy!!

I LOVE that band!
Man Or Astro-Man Live "Transmissions From Uranus" was recorded at CGs back when it was the Covered Dish, in 1995.
(You can see my knee on the cover of the album, shooting just off stage.)
