Hey, I'm in a band who've just applied for Fest 7. We're from the UK, which isn't looking in our favour as the the UK band to play The Fest last year was the first in 3 years, but it would be cool for anyone to tell us what you think.

I don't think being from the UK will go against you. There were about 5 UK bands last year and 2 the year before that. I think your real problem will be every other UK band wants to play this year too as those of us who've been before have been raving about how great it is to everyone we come into contact with! You're gonna be up against some very tough competition from fellow countrymen I think!

what UK bands are trying to play this year then Timmy?

Arteries and The Quarry have applied. OK Pilot are apparently playing. Atom Bomb and Chillerton wanna play, I think the Lockout applied and a band you put on recently over your way are certainly hoping to do it but they've not mentioned it on any boards so maybe they wanna keep it quiet! I'm sure you know who I mean. That's just off the top of my head...I know a lot of other people have talked to me about it though.

Oh and I'm hoping Cop Out will give it a go as they're a great band and great people that would fit into the spirit of Fest probably better than anyone! I think they said they'd give it a bash but we were all more than a bit drunk when it was discussed!

Haha, alright - the 3 years before that then. I remember reading in one of their blogs or an interview.
