Ran up to me at registration, rattled off who you were with a shit-eating grin on your face, high fived me and disappeared.
i was wearing that shit eating grin the whole weekend, but yeah, was nice meeting you janeen! x

This is me: -pictures-
I saw you a ton of times too, and always noticed because of 3 things-
1) you are tiny!
2) looked familiar. have you been in Gainesville some non-Fest times, or did I just recognize you form last year?
3) awesome Capital shirt.
You should have said something, tons of board lurkers said they recognized me from my sig, and I talked to most of them for a least a few minutes, and even hugged a few.
Ben Blanks- you should have shouted! I love shouting at people and getting shouted at in crowds!

If there is any missed connection about me it would go like this:
"Dear greasy-haired girl trying badly to hide it under her stupid trying-to-be-ironic flipped-up camo hat:
I will indeed Mess with Texas despite your shirt. You did not rock out enough in the pit and instead stared at everything around you wide-eyed with your mouth gaping open.
Use it to make out with me instead."
Agreed on the vitamins. We came up with a plan with some guy in line at the bar to have PBR AND the vitamin water people sponsor Fest 8- way less puke for the City of Gainesville to clean up on Monday, right?

aw man, now I wish I had. And nah, you probably just recognized me from last year - prior to last year's Fest I had never been to Gainesville before. I seem to be one of those people that everyone thinks they know me from somewhere else. At some point during the weekend, some dude asked me if I was originally from Arizona (a place I have never been to, haha!).
thanks for the props on the Capital shirt btw Figured I would rock a shirt of a local NY band that some folks down there probably wouldn't know. Sidenote, Rob guitarist from Capital was there this weekend, he was filling in for Iron Chic. He dug my shirt when he saw it. I also roomed with Von, their drummer, his girlfriend (K80 on this board) and two other Long Island kids at last year's Fest. Maybe next year they can actually play!

last year I hung out with a ton of kids from NY, including some memebrs of Capital. I wish them, Crime In Stereo, Thieves And Assassins, Take My Chances, and Sleepwall could all play Fest.
Rob might have been one of the guys I was hanging out with last year, but I didn't see him this year.

Rob wasn't there last year, just Von, he was the only Capital member. The other LI kids with us were Kevin and Mike who used to be in this band Invade. I'm talking to Von on AIM right now, he remembers you hahaha
that rules to know someone from outside of Long Island knows a ton of Long Island bands!

yeah, i don't know why, I love LI bands. Invade rules too, so does Call It Fire, and of course the late great Kill Your idols.
controversial opinion- I like Capital better than Silent Majority.

Now I kinda wish that I went and met more people than just shaking hands with Phil for 2 seconds while he was chatting with a girl that was in the registration line next to me. I probably saw all of you, just didn't recognize anybody.
