Does anyone else on here not fuck themselves up regularly? I'm just curious.

I love beer, but I very rarely drink more than a little bit at shows.

I'm usually sober but drink on occasion and when I drink it takes so long to get drunk that I either barely do or go past my limit, shit sucks damn my Irish heritage! my liquor tolerance is too high!

I was edge up until about a year ago, I can only remember one or two times that I've really been drunk since then. I think it's a mix of high tolerance and when I open up a fridge at a party and see something like Gatorade and Beer, I always end up drinking the gatorade/apple juice whatever.

These days I rarely have more than a few beers to drink when I go out to shows. And I didn't drink much at Fest 5 or 6. I doubt I'll drink much this year either. I suppose my days of passing out in strange cities are over.

Can't edit the original post. I suppose "I usually drink" may have been better wording.

I cant remember the last time I went out and didnt drink at least 2-3. i usually drink til i run out of money or if it's a weekday, i'll try and keep it under 6-7 drinks. but generally i just keep drinking steadily all night til it's time to go. i dont ever think 'right, tonight im going to get wasted' as it never seems to work out.. the best times are when you meet someone for 'just a quick one' that turns into an all-night marathon and you're stood outside your door at 2am trying to find your keys and not drop your chips.

And you guys have the nerve to call your self "festers". Psssh! This post reminds me of when we were on tour and we were in Richmond, and the girls house we were staying at had a little sxe vegan sister, we were there for a few days and were having a few drinks in the kitchen after a long day of doing nothing but eating burritos and she comes in with some sassy attitude and says "do you guys drink EVERY DAY? God..." haha
this is also funny, even to me and i dont really smoke.

For me it is really hard to drink and shoot at the same time. I usually hold out for day 3.

Last year I drank tallboy for tallboy with a friend who outweighed me by at least 100 lbs.
definitely took a nap on the couch upstairs at Market Street at some point after Vena Cava.
I have no goals to be any more responsible this year.

Ah. This post is kind of funny. To put my stance on things bluntly, I ran into a friend at the coffee shop down the street from where I live a week or so ago at like ten in the morning and the first thing he said to me was "Hi Mel. It's nice to see you sober."
And staying sober at Fest? You serious?

It is very possible to have a blast while sober. Shit I did it for over 10yrs before the ex drove me to drinking. No lie.
