Armalite vs No Trigger is really crappy. I'm quite torn.

Saw Wheel vs The Measure [sa]

I will have to leave Cheap Girls early to catch Polar bear Club, that kinda sucks. I will also have to leave Austin Lucas early to catch Hour Of The Wolf.

Scouts Honor and Cloak/Dagger conflict, but I've seen Cloak/Dagger a coupel times, and I like them better on record than live anyway.

There is a rumured surprise show that possibly conflicts with a band or two I wanted to check out, but it's not a huge conflict, and not even definite yet.

on a more positive note, I had never heard Averkiou until they jus tpopped up on the Fest-Radio player on the main page, and I'm really digging it, and they do not conflict with anything.

YES, Averkiou are fantastic! They just played that Joy Division tribute show a bit ago. Working on getting photos up for that now. After they played their cover songs the audience demanded more and they played a couple songs of their own and the audience went nuts, it was awesome. :D

I find a ton of stuff I dig using the Fest-Radio player, just letting it cycle through. If it starts on a section I've heard enough times before, I just hit forward like 50 times.

But yeah, Averkiou. I'm a sucker for that kind of fuzzed out indie rock. Simultanesouly upbeat and down-key.

Can't help but think that a perfect tour of bands that hardly anyoen knows would be Averkiou, Ninja Gun, Cheap Girls, and Sleepwall (who are unfortunately not playing The Fest, but would fit perfectly with those other 3 bands). A total back to basics indie-rock revolution. Death to hipsters and overproduction! Viva La schlubs inspired by Husker Du and Dinosaur Jr!

Yeah, this is another tough call. Being from upstate New York, I see PBC all the time, but i'd also like to support my friends. On the otherhand, I fucking LOVE Young Livers. I saw them in March but i'd loooooove to see them again. Choices, choices....

I've never seen Young Livers, but I feel like I'll get another chance soon enough. Of course, I said the same thing about As Friends Rust a couple of times, and wound up only seeing them twice- the first time in 1999 or 2000 when I didn't like them, and then the reunion show a couple months ago.

i have seen the young livers 3 or 4 times and they are really great live. i was at the as friends rust reunion show and it was really good, they are alot better live than any of the stuff i have on disk for them. i'm hoping for pbc to play a house show also so i can see them twice or free up that time slot possibly because i kinda wanted to see star fucking hipsters.
