Moving to Gville or Portland?

portland; well really all i know is i am moving away from birmingham al.

i am also considering tampa, new orleans and salt lake city.

any suggestions?

just move to boston, i hear it snows there and they beat each other up with blunt objects at shows.

i don't even think it's a contest, move to Tampa. New Orleans is awesome and I love that they can rebuild but I wouldn't want to be there unless i had a family that had been locals for a while. Cool town though, wouldn't wanted to have grown up there though. SLC definitely doesn't seem like my cup of tea... probably because my tea would have mushrooms in it.

basically, and I live a state below where we think we have nice beaches but really offer nothing but one of the largest state debts and the tiniest downtown that wishes it was Boston, it snows here, but we only beat each other with Nerf baseball bats.
