I forget which show it was but I remember being at 1982 once, there was about 20-30 people there and realizing that besides me there were maybe 2 other people at the show who weren't in a local band at one point or another
this includes whoever is working the door or the bar

Exactly, perfect example. I'm in a minority in Gville having never been in a band, though I did lend my vocals to an intro track years ago for a 90s hardcore band.

I checked them out two days ago when I saw that they play market street pub on saturday with all these awesome bands and I defenitly try to see them
