I know this guy. And every time he doesn't have an answer to something he says this. And somehow it's acceptable in every instance.

am i the only one who thinks that these banks might have more cash knocking around if they didn't have thousands of staff 'earning' obsene amounts of money and bonuses?
plus they seem to go into administation when they 'only' make like a hundred million pounds profit.. PROFIT! that means you aren't loosing anything, dooshbags.

They print money as fast as the machines can crank out bills and people are still somehow surprised at their money not going as far as it used to. There's a reason that bills of credit are unconstitutional. Inflation is a tax.

gotta have a fall back plan when you're playing the always challenging game of "now i say something clever"

This reminds me of the time I assumed my girlfriend was as aware of/amused by Anchorman dialogue as me, and mistakingly delivered a pitch-perfect "Why don't you go back to your home on Whore Island?" to thundering silence.

I read today the bank I bank with had over 30% wiped off its share value. If it wasn't for the fact I don't fully understand the implications of this whole shebang (I mean, none of this money that's being lost actually exists, as such - and when governments are pumping billions into "the system" or "the market", where is it actually going and what is it actually doing?), I would imagine I would probably be quite concerned.
Although, I'm in debt to them, if they go bust, does that mean I'd lose my debt, like I'd lose my savings, had I any?

Your debt would surely be sold to another creditor, if it hasn't been already. And your savings are FDIC insured (there should be a sticked on the door). Unless you have upward of $100,000 in a single savings account, you have nothing to worry about.

My life has been completely up in the air for months now job wise, with disappointments around every corner in EVERY other part of my life.
But I'm staying positive and being productive.
And that's what the Fest is all about. Plus, it is really good for the economy of a tiny college town.
