hey, if anyone is not sleeping hard or hungover on Sunday morning, we should get a bunch of people together to go get a FULL breakfast, because I know a lot of places outside The South don't do that, so we should show 'em what's up.
biscuits 'n' gravy
cornbread
bacon AND ham AND sausage
fresh orange juice
greens
GRITS
etc etc etc

oh you have so much to learn!
actually you aren't missing much unless you go to some really good places, usually I end up at a shoney's breakfast buffet which ends up being me and a bunch of truckers eating cold friend chicken at 8am.
I've heard glorious things about breakfast at The Top and their corn nuggets but have yet to try them

just looking at that picture gave me man-boobs. Home fries rock!
I can't believe I haven't hit up the local diner since I've been back home.

I second that bit about the Top. Totally disappointed with their brunch. You know where I prefer to go.

I'm not sure how heavy/"hearty"/greasy your beans on toast is, but I can't stomach American breakfast at any time of the day, let alone first thing after waking up. "Good morning! You're about to call in sick."

That, and necessary herbal enhancements . . . and some beer, a blotter, possibly some coffee, too. And the coffee has whiskey in it, as well, in case you were wondering.
I am a fan of bigass breakfasts, though, I just hope my constitution will be stable enough on Sunday morning to handle anything this serious.
Maybe if there was a buffet of all this nasty goodness.
