is in the works. my boo Steve, who runs the "Appetite for Destruction" kickball tourney once a year here in Gainesville, for all of the cool kid restaurants/bars, is looking to do one for bands and festers.....
however we are trying to decide the best day to do this. since it usually starts at noon, ends around 4-5 and consists of mayhem, kegs, fried foods, sweat, blood, tears, and falling over.
one year cafe gardens was so wasted they couldn't run bases.. AT ALL.
we would like to do the Sunday before everything gets started. but a lot of people may not be here by then. so maybe Wednesday or Thursday. we'll see what happens...

Pardon my ignorance but what is kickball? Is it what Americans call football now?!!

I was wondering that too. I mentioned in another thread it would be fun to get some 5 a side on the go or something and someone mentioned there was a hall on the UF campus that could be used.

Dude, we don't even play baseball, never mind variations of it.

Explain the current offside rule, taking into account the hitherto unknown van Nistelrooy interpretation that emerged during Euro 2008.

yeah it depends on who set the rules, i've seen some that play with only 2 strikes, or it is possible to foul out. mostly though a lot of people just pop the ball up in the air and it gets caught pretty easy
or if your allowed to hit the person with the ball to get them out, that always makes it more excited, specially if they decided to run the bases with a drink in hand

the whole point of kickball is that it's easy.
adding the dodge element is sweet too though.
