I work in a small building society. Kinda like a bank but deals mainly in savings and mortgages. Old people - way too much time and way too much money. I guess it's alright for a job. It's not like I actually have a dream job anyway.

I'm a Leasing Manager at an apartment complex in Gainesville. It's pretty okay, and i get a discount on my rent. I just hate dealing with the stupid frat/sorority kids who have everything paid for by mommy and daddy.

Which one? So I can cringe accordingly.

A discount on rent seems pretty sweet though.
I'd like to work with that.

If I didn't think of this from time to time, my goddamn eyes would pop out of my head and my brain would ooze out my ears.

I honestly can't think of a "good" apartment complex in Gainesville, there are just some not as shitty as others

I am a paramedic. I work for the St. Louis Fire Department. People usually reply to this with "That's noble" or "You save lives". I correct them, because even though I like my job it's made me an asshole. I work in the worst possible neighborhood, I deal with drunks, crackheads, and the ever increasingly bullet-riddled gang banga. I was a nice to patients when I began this job, but then I quickly realized 90% of people who call 911 do not have an emergency and are probably trying to hustle you. Don't get me wrong, I give excellent patient care to people who actually need me, but they are few and far between.
Still, it beats the factory I used to work in.

College Park Apartments.
Our buildings are old, but as a company we're not that bad. I've definitely worked for worse.

Spent four mind numbing years with a private, city is way better. We're not crossed trained yet, so I'm just a medic.

I work full time in a cinema/movie theatre. I get free films, half price popcorn and get to watch new releases uh.. roughly the same time they get released in the States. Depending on how involved I let myself get (I used to be kind-of a manager, then demoted myself the fuck out of dodge), I get some cool perks (paid trips to the other end of the country to watch a movie then come home [thanks Disney!], free movie merch, etc) but mostly I like to keep my head down, ignore everyone who doesn't actively engage me (and even then I'm quite good at quickly resolving any issues with y'know, common fucking sense.) and mostly air drum my way through the day.
