Figured I should do this intro-
Hi! My name is Colleen, I'm from NYC, and this will be my first(but assuming i have a good time, which I always do, will not be my last) Fest.
On Friday, you can find me dressed as one of two ninja's, along with two pirates, and a referee(fuck yes, there will be battles in gainesville!!!!).
P.S. I don't usually pass out on sidewalks, but it happens. Prolly will in gainesville. ::shrug::

Hi,
I feel a bit silly not having done this already, but here goes anyway.
My name is Belinda, I am traveling all the way to Gainesville from Sydney, Australia. I actually live in an inner-city suburb called Enmore, which is probably 10-15 minutes from the heart of the city.
I don't have a recent photo that I can put on, but just keep an ear out for an Aussie accent it will probably be me, it doesn't seem like there will be many of us there!
This is my first Fest & who knows if there will be more for me (Australia is far away!)
I've been punk rockin' for many years, with plenty more to go! I also spend plenty of time (sometimes I think maybe too much) in my friend's DIY record store, Paint It Black. If you are ever in the neighborhood you should stop in for beer, oh & to buy records!
Hope to meet all you lovely people real soon.

Hi, my name is Jay and i'm a alcoholic. I'm 21 From West Palm Beach, obv. I personally hate beer, i'm more of a liquor person. This is my first Fest. Mainly because i'm really not into alot of the music styles. I'm mainly going to see The Bouncing Souls, Strike Anywhere, Less Than Jake, Paint It Black and Municipal Waste. I generally listen to more music like Hardcore/Metal. If it has breakdowns and 2 step beats i'm generally down with it lol.
And i don't currently have any pictures on this computer. Its relatively new so i haven't uploaded any pictures.

I wouldn't say have so much big bands... of course we just try to book bands that can possibly make back the high costs of touring over here in europe.. but definitly write back if your interested, we probably got some nice things coming up for next year, also we're not doing all our international bands for the UK as well and most europeans have it too hard to step into the uk anyway..
Feel free to fire godspaper at aol.com any tour avails, too. We do stuff in Manchester and might be able to help out sometimes

I probably like more hardcore than the average Festgoer, but breakdowns and 2-steps do get old after a while. It's easy to get burned out on all that macho-mosh stuff.

Don't forget your white headband and to do clap-kick-windmills. Love me some 90s show antics, minus the fights.

I'm glad you introduced yourself Jay because you just popped up on here and are a bit of a secret w/out a MySpace link. Welcome!
I wasn't into beer much of my life but have recently switched over from liquor because it started giving me terrible headaches, even after only a couple drinks.
And yeah. I'm with you there about the Hardcore/Metal. Though it has its limits of tolerance as well. Never enough metal shows in Gville for me! Every year there seems to be more heavy bands at the Fest though.

Yeah, You guys got Converge not to long ago! one of my favorite bands... ever. I drove all the way up there for that show, was fucking amazing, It was actually my 21st Birthday the night of the show.
I like to be pretty secrety... I'm not even really sure what drove me to post on the boards in the first place.
