Ah, a Latterman reunion at Fest would be super awesome. I can only dream...

I'd like to see Death Is Not Glamorous come over from Norway to play. Dirty Tactics would be fun to see there. Avail, and Tim Barry's solo stuff, of course. The Draft. The Smoking Popes. Glass & Ashes. 500 Miles To Memphis. Jena Berlin.

I could go on.

Both of this aren't even possibilities this year, sadly. Tim will be on the Revival tour at the time in CA.

Mr. T Experience

Useless ID (probably far-fetched)

Combat Wounded Veteran - I'd pretty much have to say is a pipe dream. I know those guys and getting the singer to FL is near impossible. He happened to be the Fest artist for I believe Fest 5 and I don't think he even came to that.

MT. Experience - I LOVE THEM! Still have their releases on vinyl. That would be a fun show.

Useless ID - They were literally just signed to Suburban Home Records last week and SH will be at the Fest. So who knows, it may happen yet.

Yeah, I was excited to hear about the SH signing. I've always loved Useless ID, but when I read the news, I figured there'd be a better chance of those guys actually, maybe playing The Fest.

Mr. T Experience seem obligatory for The Fest. Have they ever played it?

And on the Avett Brothers show thing, I was moreso commenting on the venue for the band. I cannot even think of a time (but I could be wrong) that they've just played in an intimate venue like Cat's Cradle or Soapbox. It's always been some kind of huge blowout of an outdoor event. Cool band nonetheless.

I've seen the Avetts 4 times and only once was at a big venue, which I highly disliked and will try to avoid in the future. So yeah, they do play a lot of smaller venues but a LOT of huge festivals too. The thing is that they've gotten a LOT bigger just in the past year all the sudden. So sadly, the days of them playing small venues may be over.

I don't even know of too many people that even remember Mr. T Experience. They have certainly never played the Fest. Honestly, I was surprised to find they were still together. I haven't heard anything about them since the early 90s when I listened to them a lot.

The Avett Brothers played a tiny coffee house in Deland just over a year and a half ago.

And yes, they're getting bigger, but I have faith that they'll stay true. Late last year/early this year I saw them 5 times in 4 months in mostly mid-sized venues.

I guess they're just bigger than jesus here in the ol' nc.

If Rival Schools play then that's at least one Quicksand member in the right place.
