I'll be like one of those radio adverts where they have to read out small print really fast whenever I say it, "As coined by Lady Janeen of Hawkshire."

right, i've booked flights from NYC - orlando and back, so i need to book the Runways shuttle bus from G'ville back to Orlando for the monday after Fest, only trouble is it keeps saying i'm giving an invalid phone number... argh! has anyone from the UK booked with them before, and if so how did you get round this? ive tried every possible combination of gaps, no gaps, international code, no code, just leaving it blank etc.... have emailed them too.

I've booked with them and I just checked my online ticket but my phone number isn't showing up on there. I can't remember what I put but it definitely worked.

We had the same problem trying to book the bus for Becca but discovered after several attempts that a basic London 0208 number with no international codes worked fine in the end.

If anyone is going from Orlando airport Wednesday evening and has a spare car/van place.....Will pay gas/beer/whatever
Or do any of you think an hour and 10 is enough time to get off the plane, pick up luggage and get over to the bus stop?

I dunno if it's the typical experience but last year we were off the plane at Orlando and into a taxi within about half an hour. That wasn't direct from the UK though so that probably makes a difference, what with the lack of customs to clear and whatnot.

My flight is via Detroit, so I should clear customs and immigration there...I think? I know there's a later RNWY bus but I don't really fancy trekking from the Uni to my hotel at 3am alone, suitcase in tow ...if you know what I mean

Oh yeah, you should do all that nonsense at Detroit then. I'd've thought an hour ten's probably enough time, although I'm just assuming the bus stop is as easy to find as the taxi rank, which was literally outside the door. Plus we got in quite late at night, which might've meant things were going more smoothly.

Assuming they haven't moved the bus stop it's pretty easy to find... I used it last year (after spending 6 hours overnight in the airport :c/ )
OK so this sounds promising...now have to hope I can do my imigration etc in the 1 1/2 hours I have between flights on Detroit!
