who from Richmond is going to the Fest? my friend and i plan on attending, but dont have enough money for plane tickets and neither of us have reliable enough cars to make it there and back. so if the two of us could bum rides to and from the Fest we'll chip in for gas money and whatever else.
and to Gainesvilleians, any chance two dudes from Richmond could get a place to stay for the weekend?
we're 18, bearded, and know how to party

i'd say you could hop in with us, but it's mostly likely already gonna be the 5 band members, plus 2 "road crew", and all our equip and merch. yeah, that just spells comfort there.
i imagine there'll be a good amount of people coming from the RVA though, you shouldn't have a problem.

from what it seemed like last year half the population of Richmond comes down for the Fest so i'm sure you'll find a ride from someone

I am coming from the Northern VA area and would be willing to give you dudes a ride. I am about 90% sure that I am going to The Fest. Let me know if you want to ride or not.

Why not rent a car??
I'm NY and thats what a bunch of us did last year. It didn't cost us that much and I'm sure driving from Richmond it'll be easier and quicker...

It varies from state to state . . . you have to be 25 to rent a 15-passenger van in Illinois, but you can rent sedans at 21. Also, the various rental companies have different rules.
