for a class I'm taking, I have to attend several support group meetings, and write about what I observe. I've already gone to AA (then had a drink afterwards).

Obviously it's easier for me to go to meetings in Ocala, BUT if anyone can help me find a support group for ex-Jehovah's Witness or ex-Mormons, or ex-Krishnas, or anything like that, I'd be willing to drive up to Gainesville to check it out, I might even take time off of work if it sounds interesting enough.

yeah, but I doubt it's "open discussion" which means that anyone is invited, no questions asked.

I think that anything with victims of sexual abuse would be a beneficial topic to learn more and write about. I'm not even in FL but that is an issue that I feel everyone should learn more about.
