The FEST Board • View topic - 239 Punk/Ska/Reggae Fest! (Fri Oct. 5th/Sat Oct. 6th FREE!)

Hey guys! This is my first time on this board and im hoping to actually attend Fest 11 this year if I can get outta work this time (working in Retail has never lemme get up there and im only 4 hours away :-\)

Anyways i play in a pop punk/ska band called After The Fact! from Fort Myers/Cape Coral,FL (SouthWest FL) and this will be our 2nd year putting on our 239 Punk/Ska/Reggae Fest!, a FREE 2 night event in downtown Cape Coral at our venue, Rack'em Billiards with 25 bands (a mixture of mostly ska,punk, and some reggae bands) from all over the state of FL on two stages,back and forth, the first weekend in October (Friday October 5th Starting at 7pm and Saturday October 6th starting at 5pm). Its a FREE Fest to bring some of the best punk,ska, and reggae bands together from all over the state of FL to introduce each other to one another, become friends and trade shows all over FL so we can help each other build a better more stable music scene made up of friends instead of rivals.

This year Jay Tea(formerly of The Arrogant Sons of Bitches) will also be coming down from New York to perform, so we are super stoked about that too!

Below i will list the bands that are performing on each night and the links to our facebook page for the Fest and the event page as well. We hope you can make it down a few weeks before this year's Fest to check out some really great bands that we have the honor of playing with on a monthly basis
