We're flying into Orlando on the 24th and leaving the 29th...a car rental for the whole time is only like $110 US...unless you don't want that responsibility! (Try Kayak.com to look for cheap American rooms, cars, etc.)...there is also a shuttle bus that runs between Orlando and Gainesville...I think it's like $20/each way but I'm not sure...good luck!

never been on a megabus but the the double decker ones look scary as hell.. stupid idea using those for any kind of medium-long distance travel. they are a new company and have been developing a history of getting into horrible accidents the last couple months... just type "megabus" on google and well, see you on the greyhound bus.
im a bit unsure why megabus is gaining so much popularity.. greyhound serves a ton more cities with many more departure times. double decker buses on the interstate going 70 miles per hour.. no thank you.

I've used Megabus several times on the east coast and they are fine. Not that much different from Greyhound. I also found 1$ rides on both carriers. 1$ from Toronto to Baltimore is a pretty sweet deal.

last year when i traveled the US i rode on the Megabus about 7 times, never had a problem with any of the trips and the stops were easy to find as the website gives instructions on what street they are on and also give a little map. i definitely prefer it to the Greyhound. the drivers we had were all pretty good and i never felt unsafe in regards to their driving. its super cheap as well which is always a good thing. i'd say go for it!
