Hey festers,

So Toby Jeg and myself have started putting on some cool shows together (Sundowner, Slow Death, Arms Aloft, Dan Andriano, Copyrights, and such), and we putting together a rad $3 show on 10/20 at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago and figured it would be cool catch a band that's on touring their way to Fest. Anyway, the show is going to be sponsored by Schlitz so there is a decent amount of guaranteed money and free beers in for the bands that play.

Any bands confirmed yet? I'm not in a band or anything, I just really like the Redscare Presents shows, stoked on Arms Aloft tonight! Haven't seen them since Fest 8.

I think Lipstick Homicide are playing at this. I highly recommend checking them out...they're my favourite new(ish) band at the moment!

they're actually playing a different show! on October 1st, they are going to be part of the second night of Red Oktoberfest and are playing with Reaganomics and a super secret band.

I'm so gutted I'm missing this. I was meant to be in town then for Riot Fest but decided to fly back to the UK for a bit before coming back out to Gainesville and I can't change my flights now.

Bummer!
