I just feel sorry for anyone that couldn't get out of the way. 3 years ago, at a Lagwagon show, an asshole jump off a PA stack and landed just on top of a friend of mine's head, she went all dizzy, i thought she was gonna fall unconscious, that asshole ruined her the entire show, i support stage diving and crowd surfing as long as the guys that are crowd surfing don't start kicking like dumb fucks and stage divers don't jump off from pa stacks or speakers

I think that someone already mentioned this, but when kids jump of the PA stack, chances are they are not thinking about the consequences. They are just trying to have fun. It's pretty common in Punk, Hardcore, and other tons of music genres. What happened to your friend is pretty fucked up. Glad she is okay! But that's just what happens at shows. I got knocked out once at a show when a band covered an American Nightmare song, and while I was watching out for the Hardcore dancers and all that stuff, some guy kicked me in the head and I fell down and got knocked out. I was bummed about it, but it's just what happens at shows. At the end of the day, you do nothing but either laugh about it or share the story with your friends. Like I said before, I'm glad that your friend is okay!!!

[quote="Janusduo" Please let's not let them think we'd stand there and let members of our own community die just because we're offended. If that is the case please, grow up![/quote] Agreed. If ya don't want to be a part of the crazy hijinks that typically accompany punk rock shows, do not go to them or stand in the back.
