Funny how it is written, seems like some of it is based on hearsay rather than facts.

I think the Fest crew should edit it properly.

Is it "The Fest"? As far as I knew it was just "Fest" followed by whatever number it is at for the year. It never says "the" on t-shirts or posters. Although some news stuff on the website says "The Fest", they always sign off as "the Fest 7 crew"

Neither of those are official Fest shirts created by the Fest so they don't count. Maybe PJ can clear this up.

I think me and Tony actually talked about this once. I'm pulling this straight out of my ass but I think it makes sense.

If you are referring to the Fest as a whole it should be "The Fest".
Like, that thing that happens in Gainesville every year called The Fest.

If you are referring to s specific Fest you can leave off "The"
Like, I had really good time at Fest 4 but Fest 3 sucked.

also, I've made a couple of minor edits to The Fest page before.

I like the beard idea. Because the Fest can't be described in words. It's too awesome, like how jesus freaks say your head would explode if you heard god's voice or something. There's too much rad going on to contain into simple words. The Fest is like the Bermuda triangle or something. It's the most awesome place on earth that only exists for three days when the gods of rock will it so. And then it disappears, lying dormant, until the planets align once again....

I was trying to think of a way to respond to 'how was your holiday?' in work today that they might possibly fathom the awesomeness of, but i gave up. Similarly, any description posted on Wiki will fall short. maybe there shouldn't be an entry? I mean, thats the problem with the internet sometimes.. people can do a five second google and 'know' about something. The Fest is something people go on about, but being there to see it is when you go 'ohh, i get it'. what happened to a bit of mystery? 'why don't you put a rainbow in a jar while you're at it?'

That's why the wiki page needs to have lots of photos of crazy Fest highlights NOT just of bands to better get a grasp of just how awesome it is.
